sculptrash
All of my sculpture is made from 100% garbage with the exception of the “joiners” such as poprivets or welding joints.
Aluminum cans, pop cans, scraps from constructon sites, found objects left on the ground. Why not invest in garbage this way instead of paying to send it “wherever it goes” when it goes to the recycling bin.
Ornamnents- not just for holidays

This is a hubcap covered in a 3d spiral of scraps of copper and metal and wire. I also used miscellaneous pieces of garbage. The piece is part of a project called Landfill Art. http:www.landfillart.org
It is a project implemented by an artist named Ken Marquis who decided to take 1000 hubcaps from a landfill and have artists make them into art. Please check his project out: www.landfillart.org. There are so many very cool hubcaps.
These are pieces I made from scrap pieces of copper purchased from a copper supply company. I colored the copper by soaking them in various potions.
